Dumb: The highest paid member of the McCain campaign during the first two weeks of this month was Amy Strozzi. Never heard of her? Why she’s Sarah Palin’s makeup artist. Strozzi was paid $22,800 for applying foundation and eyeliner and blush. Tough work if you can get it, Joe Plumber! Wonder how that money could have been used to prop up GOP contenders around the country?
Despicable: McCain volunteer Ashley Todd who raised the spectre of race-baiting in Pittsburgh with a fake story of a campaign-related attack. According to the Associated Press, Todd “told investigators she was attempting to use a bank branch ATM on Wednesday night when a 6-foot-4 black man approached her from behind, put a knife blade to her throat and demanded money. She told police she handed the assailant $60 and walked away.
“Todd, who is white, told investigators she suspected the man then noticed a John McCain sticker on her car. She said the man punched her in the back of the head, knocked her to the ground and scratched a backward letter “B” into her face with a dull knife.
“Police said Todd claimed the man told her that he was going to “teach her a lesson” for supporting the Republican presidential candidate, and that she was going to become a supporter of Democratic candidate Barack Obama.”
The AP adds “Todd (of Texas) worked in New York for the College Republican National Committee before moving two weeks ago to Pennsylvania, where her duties included recruiting college students, the committee’s executive director, Ethan Eilon, has said.”
Too bad Todd didn’t read Anne Tyler’s novel, “A Slipping Down Life” before the incident. It would have warned her what happens when you carve initials into your face while looking into a mirror. D’oh!
Most Despicable: Michael Savage said on his radio show Friday that while Obama was in Hawaii visiting his ailing grandmother, he could picture him holding with a pillow over her head saying, c’mon, Granny, hurry up and die.
Seriously, despite yada-yada free speech, is there any sane reason why this crass idiot is allowed to remain on the airwaves? The fact that he and others of his ilk (Limbaugh, are you listening?) remain on the air says nothing positive about the current state of America and its manners or taste.

No, the most despicable is the fact that the Obama campaign wants to take money from those who have earned it and give it to those who have not, or how about the personal and slanderous attacks on Palin? Or maybe the SNUFF PIECE that CNN placed on Sarah Palin?
