One Choice: Obama

     Check out Crooks And Liars’s report on the identity of “Joe the Plumber.” Turns out his close relative is the son-in-law of Charles Keating, as in the Keating Five!!! As in the scandal that almost ended McCain’s career. Oh, and Joe’s relative is a major contributor to the GOP. UPDATE: According to Keith Olbermann tonight, it has not been confirmed that “Joe” and Robert Wurzelbacher are blood relations. But it’s a bizarre synchronicity, nonetheless.
     Oh, and according to this blog post at the New York Times, he’s not a licensed plumber and his first name is Samuel.
     UPDATE: Olbermann added some other details about Our Man Joe. According to records, his salary is more in the range of $40,000 and he has no formal plans to buy his boss’ business that is worth $100,000 — not more than $250,000. So he WOULD fare better under Obama’s tax plan. And speaking of, why would he care when he didn’t bother to pay his 2007 taxes? It sure looks like this guy was a GOP plant, especially after such a deft display of swift-lying.
     Lies upon lies upon lies! Dirty tricks, dirty set-ups. Wonder if we should swing by the Watergate Hotel to see what’s new…
